Skyler is 7 weeks

Skyler is 7 weeks old today.

Skyler's newborn pictures are in! We had these taken just after we left the hospital, she was 2 weeks old (and very sleepy). Our friend Alissa is a photographer, and did the session for us. Her company is Alissa Floyd Photography.

Of course daddy had to have a picture with golf gear! He thinks she's going to be a superstar golfer.

Skyler is on the left, Nick is on the right... same bear. Nick was a preemie, very small. Skyler has much chubbier cheeks, but as she gets older we're noticing that she has more features like her daddy.

Skyler has learned how to smile! They started out as sleep smiles or gas smiles, but we are getting to some real fun smiles now. Ahhh... the joys of being a parent!

Taylor and family visit

Taylor, Josue, and the boys came for a day trip to see Skyler! We met up with some of her friends for lunch, then spent some time at the house with the kids. Lunch was fun... 10 adults, and about 12 kids!

We took Skyler to her first baseball game! Nick's work had tickets for all the workers and their families to go to the Spokane Indians game. Skyler did pretty well... we left in the 8th inning when the score was 0-11. We all had fun anyway.

Cousins meeting for the 1st time

We went to Seattle for the weekend. Nick had a work event (his company's 15 year anniversary). We made a weekend out of it, spending Friday with the family in Yakima. It was the first time we got the girls together. Ava is 7 months, Skyler 1 month. We also had great plans to meet up with our friends Kara, Seth, and their 2 girls at the zoo in Seattle... however, we both had different ideas of the Seattle zoo. When trying to meet up, we realized they were at Point Defiance Zoo, while we were at Woodland Park Zoo. It was a bummer, but we got to meet up afterwards and made sure to have lunch on Sunday before heading home. Skyler was a champ the entire trip. She slept through all the long car rides, and made the trip pretty easy for us.

Coeur d' Alene trip - Crawford babies

We went to Coeur d'Alene for the annual street fair and food booths. While there, we ran into the other Crawford's... Myk and Marnie. It was the first time we got the babies together. Marnie went in for delivery of Chase right as we left the hospital with Skyler. They are 5 days apart in age.
