Halloween 2015

Here are some pictures of our sweet little pumpkin on her 1st Halloween.

It was this time last year that Jamie found out she was pregnant. She had decided to tell Nick by setting out pumpkins: a Mommy pumpkin, Daddy pumpkin, and a Baby Crawford pumpkin. Here is a picture of those pumpkins from last year, along with some re-created pictures of our own little pumpkin, Skyler!

Skyler's first word - MOM! Video

Skyler said her first word tonight... MOM! Ok, so it was inadvertent but it sure sounded like mom. I was taking a video of her, she said mom, then I looked up to see if Nick heard what I heard... then we both started laughing. Here's the video clip:

Christie's birthday party

We celebrated Christie's birthday party with a delicious brunch. Although Skyler is just getting over her first cold, she had fun playing with all the kids.

Skyler's first Bumbo

Skyler sat in the Bumbo chair for the first time today. She has been holding her head up for a while now, as long as we've given her body a little support. We thought we'd see if she could handle the Bumbo seat yet. Thanks to cousin Ava for letting us borrow your Bumbo! 

Skyler's first day of school

Mommy had to go back to work this week... so Skyler goes to daycare. It was sad to be away from her during the day, but she did great and we know she's at a great place. Sky is going to Spokane Falls Montessori, which is an educational based daycare that assists with individualized instruction using the child's natural way of learning. We personally know 4 families that have used or currently use this same daycare. It comes highly recommended, and we've seen great developments with each of the kids. Luckily, it's also just 5 minutes from Jamie's work. She did great on her first day, and the teachers were impressed with how Skyler can sleep through any noise and that other babies crying does not effect her. She is also holding her head up pretty sturdy now, and tummy time is going very well.
