Grandpa's pumpkins

We went back to Yakima to visit the family. Grandpa's been hard at work in his garden, and the pumpkins were ready for harvest! Unfortunately, my pics turned out blurry, but here they are anyway.

Hard to get 2 kiddos looking at the camera, and stop the dogs from photo-bombing.

Splash pad fun ~ Video

It's been pretty hot lately, so we enjoyed a walk to the park and cooled off at the splash pad.

There was a little boy aiming the water guns at Skyler. Luckily, she did well.

Surprise bubbler turns on where Skyler is standing. It was funny.

Dalton's birthday party

We went to Dalton's birthday party. It was a hot day, but we had a lot of fun.

She snuck into the diaper bag and found the yogurt melts

All the kids had a bike race around the block

Skyler loves to play with Chace

Yep, we're that family... all in Seahawk gear for the 1st game of the preseason

Skyler learned her body parts ~ Video

Skyler has learned her body parts. She knows her nose, toes, ears, eyes, hair, belly, and hands. It's amazing how fast they learn.

Memphis trip

I went to Memphis for a GM Leadership Conference. It was miserably hot with temperatures in the 100's, and high humidity. Although I could never live there, I love to travel to new places. It was the first time I was away from Skyler since she's blessed our lives. That was hard, but we face-timed each night.

Home of the Blues, Birthplace of Rock & Roll

My hotel was right on Beale Street... great for entertainment, bad for sleeping.

Easy walk to FedEx Forum, where the Memphis Grizzlies play.

Took a walk down to the Mississippi River at sunset.

Bike night. It was a loud night for sure, but I had fun looking at all the bikes.

And now for my favorite part... Food! lol.
I had to enjoy some southern food, and now you can enjoy my dinner montage.

Ribs so tender, they only serve them with plastic silverware!

Blues City Cafe for the catfish and ribs combo everyone talks about

Meatloaf at BB King's restaurant

Smothered Pork at The Majestic Grille. It's a little off of Beale street, which provided a nice quiet evening... no loud music.

Pulled Pork plate at Central BBQ.

I enjoyed the food at all these restaurants. During our conference, they provided amazing food as well. My favorite was the chicken and waffles combo. Delish!
