Nursery started

Nick started working in the nursery. Now that we know it's a girl, we can paint! 26 weeks pregnant and baby girl is about 14 inches long.

We decided to go with gray walls and small accents of pink, like in the bay window

Nick built this closet organizer for our little girl. He did a great job!

Ultrasound. It's a...

It's a GIRL! Jamie was certain it was going to be a boy. This is going to take some time to wrap our heads around. 24 weeks pregnant and baby is as long as an ear of corn, almost a foot long!

It's official. It's a girl!

Look at those long legs

Maternity pants - 2nd trimester

Jamie bought her first pair of maternity jeans. 16 weeks pregnant and baby is the size of an avocado now, approximately 4 1/2 inches long head to rump. We're hoping Jamie starts feeling better soon. Morning sickness lasts all day.

These are actually pretty comfortable... stretchy material

Fantasy Flight event

Jamie was honored to participate in the Fantasy Flight event this year. Fantasy Flight takes some of the areas most underprivileged children and flies them to the North Pole. As volunteers, we decorate a large hanger to look like the North Pole. Then the children are paired with volunteer elves and we board a flight that flies us to the North Pole. The kids get presents and partake in a lot of holiday festivities. These kids really have nothing, and it's amazing to see the smiles and joy this day brings them. It is a lot of work and an extremely long day, but it is life changing! Jamie sat on the INBTA board (Inland Northwest Travel Association) when they decided to select Fantasy Flight for the charity to support from our auction. Jamie was able to recruit Christie and Marnie to be elves with her as well. We were Trixie, Dixie, and Pixie. Unfortunately Christie couldn't join us last minute because Dalton was sick. Marnie and Jamie had a blast.

We had fun being elves for the day.

We're expecting!

It's official... We're finally expecting! It's been a long journey, and after a couple rounds of fertility help, we are finally pregnant. Jamie tried to surprise Nick with her pumpkins, to let him know we're expecting. Unfortunately, he didn't get it. Nick was asking who put those pumpkins there and why, because we were getting ready to go out of town and he was worried about kids smashing them in the street. Ha. Jamie finally had to explain that she put them there. He still didn't get it, until she further explained that she was trying to make a statement.
Jamie thought this would be a clever way to let Nick know, since it's almost Halloween

Jamie must have taken 15 different tests to be sure. Such a surreal moment.
