Well, our due date was 7/7 but she decided to come late. Jamie started feeling contractions in the wee hours of the morning on 7/12. She wasn't sure they were really contractions because they weren't as bad as she expected. As the day went on, we were nearly preparing to head out for Nick's softball games. However, around 3pm those contractions were 5 minutes apart and we thought we better go in to see if that's what they were. On the way to the hospital, those contractions got stronger and closer together (only3 minutes apart by time we arrived at the hospital). Sure enough, we were in labor! Once Jamie received the epidural, labor pretty much stopped for a while and they gave her pitocin. After that everything moved pretty quickly and Skyler made her debut at 11:13pm that same day. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long. Happy birthday little girl. We've waited a long time for you!

Nick did a great job holding the sickness bags for Jamie. Turns out labor made her real sick too.
